Heath End - A relectant desion has been made.

As mentioned in my Rospeath Lane Blog, I have relutantly made the decision to dismatle and potentially scrap Heath End. In re-evaluating what would be involved correcting baseboard alignments, improving the wiring and bring the scenic areas up to a standard I would be happy with, it would distract me from what I'd really like to achieve over the next few years. That is, along with completing Rospeath Lane, building Boscarne Junction along with bringing Tredethy Wharf back to life as an exhibition layout and make a few minor alterations to the new aquisition Fiddlers Wharf. On top of that it did fill one end of the Man Cave making it a tad awkward to access that end of the room.

At the moment it is still complete and packed in pairs with each baseboard face to face with a corresponding board.  All buildings removed and packed safely with just the two scenic brake structures loose.  It could be a very good entry into P4 modelling as in testing all turnouts operated and rolling stock ran smoothly through them. So track has been well built. With the ease that RTR rolling stock can now be converted to P4 and Ultrascale drop-in wheel sets for locomotives it could soon be a working layout again.

So, if there is anyone out there that might want a stab at bring this, free to a new home, P4 roundy-roundy back to life please get in touch or just leave a comment.
